June 2022 to August 2024
In June of 2022, I was 50 years old and in the worst shape of my life. I was 260 lbs, 40% body fat, and I knew my health was suffering. I had sleep apnea which required me to use a CPAP machine to sleep at night, and even with that I was still tired all the time. I didn't have the energy to keep up with my active twin daughters, and I knew I was not setting a good example for them of what a healthy lifestyle should look like.
I knew things had to change.
I hired a coach and began my fitness journey. Over the course of 2 years, I lost 80 lbs, reduced my body fat to a healthier level, and regained my lost energy. At 54, I am in better shape than I was in my late 20s!
Now I want to share my experience and help others who are in the same spot as I was. I know that it can seem daunting and taking that first step is difficult, but I'm here to help.
